Sunday nights.

After waking up from a short nap, I found myself longing so much, so much to eat ,

Teppan Saba Fish hotplate.
Fresh from the kitchen, the sizzling sauces and the distinct aroma causing everyone to look to your direction. Soon, you'll realise all the people are running towards your direction shouting, "NOOOOOOOOO!" as the stall keeper hands you the hot plate and..

Okay, now for the serious part. Today morning I went swimming at the Jurong West sports stadium which was the one that our school held sports heats at. After the swim, although tired, I was more hungry. So dad drove and by the time I realize it, I was standing clueless infront of a Korean cuisine stall. In the past, I might stand there for maybe 10 minutes to decide what I wanna eat and still might not be able to make a decision. However, I knew what I wanted at the first glance of the menu. I thought the fish would have lotsa bones and whatever and I was prepared. BUT, I was pleasantly surprised that it had none and tasted like nothing I've ever ate. The sides of the fish slightly crispy, the meat tender with a very good fusion of teriyaki sauce and lime juice, I almost died at that instant. On a scale of 10, I rate Jurong point banquet's Teppan Saba hotplate a 8/10 because it has spaces for improvement and I really loved the kimchi. Some "authentic" Korean restaurants serve their kimchi ah .. makes me wanna spit out at the first taste . But their kimchi was just nice , although it would be best if fresher .

Putting the review aside, after I woke up, I realise something.
I looked out the window and I see the yellow lightings from other houses, the sky was dark and it looked deep as if the sky went higher .Time passes so quickly . I remember waking up lamenting about how its going to be sunday night again and how much I wish sunday nights last but .. it seems tomorrow is monday and its school again. Like my parents always say , you can enjoy life when you get a good job in the future. I say, a mediocre job that earns me enough is good enough . As long as I can be comfortable it will satisfy me . Because when I look at the fathers of a lot of well off kids , those who earn tons of money are those who don't have time for their family. You can disagree to that because im just saying in general .I'd rather pay money for time with my family than have money and realise at the end of the day that all you did was slog your guts off working for more money and you have nothing else.
I wish that time, can slow down. Increase the time for everybody because .. 24 is too little to be enough . In a blink of an eye, the clueless Derrick in sec 1 is now sec 4 . Soon , I'll find myself in the army . For me, the scariest things in life are not ghosts or cockroaches but things like , finding that I am getting old and that time is running out for me.

I guess.. I'd feel better after a nap .
